IT/OT Engineer

We are looking for an IT/OT Engineer to act as a bridge between IT and the shop floor, supporting both industrial infrastructure and operational technology environments.

This role is part of the IT department’s strategic and development area, working closely with production, maintenance, and process engineering teams to ensure the reliability, connectivity, and continuous improvement of industrial systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and support industrial IT systems and infrastructure;
• Diagnose and resolve technical incidents related to industrial operations;
• Implement improvements, updates, and enhancements to existing systems;
• Support connectivity between IT systems, industrial equipment, machines, and sensors;
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and process engineering teams to optimize factory processes;
• Contribute with a critical and analytical view to infrastructure, systems, and industrial communication;
• Participate in projects related to industrial automation and system integration.

Profile Required

• Background in IT, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field;
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, industrial operations, and factory processes;
• Experience with industrial systems support, automation projects, and integration with industrial peripherals;
• Knowledge of networks, databases, and system integration;
• Ability to manage projects and work with a critical mindset;
• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and resilience;
• Enjoyment of working with multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP PP and/or SAP PM from a user perspective;
• Exposure to data visualization tools;
• Previous experience in industrial automation or OT environments.
