Helpdesk Technician (On-site – Aveiro)


We are recruiting a Helpdesk Technician to support the internal IT operations of a well-established organization based in Aveiro. This is a fully on-site role, suited for someone practical, adaptable, and comfortable working with users and infrastructure in a hands-on environment.


Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Helpdesk and technical support to end users
  • Install, format, and configure operating systems on desktop and laptop computers
  • Install and maintain a variety of software solutions (office tools, ERP systems, antivirus, and other business applications)
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace hardware components (e.g. disks, memory) in computers and peripheral equipment such as printers
  • Perform user account management (creation, modification of access permissions, and removal of users)
  • Manage email accounts and access
  • Support basic network operations, including installing new network cables and adjusting existing cabling
  • Assist with IT equipment power management, including UPS systems
  • Support server and infrastructure environments, including both physical and virtual servers
Requirements
  • Genuine interest in Information Technology
  • Flexibility and availability for different working schedules
  • Valid driving licence and own vehicle (mandatory)
