We are looking for a PHP & Perl Software Engineer (Full-remote) to join the IT team of our client – a company specialized in Health, Wellness & Fitness.
 
What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?


  •  Develop and optimize custom-built e-commerce platform using Perl, PHP and complementary technologies;
  • Architect and implement new features, improve performance, and enhance security, working with and integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and logistics automation;
  • Improve database performance (PostgreSQL) and caching mechanisms;
  • Maintain high coding standards and documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.
 
What will be required from you?


  • Degree in Engineering or other similar area;
  • At least 05 years of similar professional experience;
  • Knowledge of modern web development, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, among others;
  • Strong knowledge of REST API, JSON, and web integrations, as well as in Linux;
  • Previous experience with e-commerce platforms will be a plus; 
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
