AI & GenAI Engineer (Lisbon or Porto)

We are looking for an AI & GenAI Engineer to integrate the team of our client – a reference company in the energy sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities? 

• Develop and integrate GenAI/LLM-based solutions (including RAG) into enterprise applications, contributing to innovation projects and POCs;
• Support technical design and implementation of AI components (frontend/backend), integrating models with APIs, cloud services, and vector databases;
• Contribute to optimizing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, primarily in Azure or other cloud environments;
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, assist with technical documentation, and ensure application quality, scalability, and security while staying updated on GenAI trends.

What is required from you?

• Academic background in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or other similar areas;
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or AI, with interest and applied knowledge in GenAI and AI architectures;
• Previous experience integrating and using generative models (LLMs) within applications or workflows;
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#;
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI frameworks and libraries, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, OpenAI API, etc,
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and basic understanding of distributed application architectures;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
