We are looking for an Application Support Manager, to integrate the team of our client – a company in the banking and financial sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?
• Manage and coordinate the team responsible for the support and maintenance of banking applications;
• Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical applications;
• Monitor and ensure compliance with SLA and regulatory requirements;
• Coordinate incident resolution and ensure effective communication with stakeholders;
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to optimize solutions;
• Define continuous improvement strategies and automation of operational processes;
• Manage upgrades, patches, and versions of applications to minimize operational risks;
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PSD2);
• Analyze performance metrics and propose improvements in user experience.

What is required from you?
• Academic background in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other similar area will be valued;
• Previous professional experience, ideally over 6 years, in application management in a banking environment;
• Solid knowledge in architecture and functioning of banking applications;
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, system integration, and information security;
• Experience with applications: SAS Viya, SAS DIS, SAS FM, Finastra Trade Innovation, Finastra Payments to Go, Asseco core banking (Banka, Financa and AM), Live and Dixtior DCS;
• ITIL or similar certifications are a plus;
• Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools (PRTG, Splunk, etc.);
• Knowledge of banking standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2);
• Analytical skills and focus on solving complex problems;
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and effective communication with stakeholders;
• Ability to adapt and make decisions under pressure;
• Proactive mindset with strong coordination and summarization capabilities;
• Ability to work under pressure and lead crisis situations;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach;
