We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician to join the team of our client – one of the major players worldwide in the food retail sector.
What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?
- Solve and manage technical problems, ensuring the helpdesk to internal colleagues from several areas;
- Install and setup locally IT equipment (workstations/desktop);
- Install and setup operative systems Desktop MS Windows;
- Install and setup software in workstations (MS Office, MS Outlook, Java and Browsers);
- Develop, support and maintenance of IT applications;
- Capacity to diagnose and solve technical problems;
- Capacity to repair and switch components of microinformatics;
- Capacity to setup equipments in IP network;
- Capacity to screen and solve network problems;
- Experience in accounts management (Windows), creating e-mail accounts, permissions and access levels, shared branches and printers;
- Performing and maintenance of security and recovery backups.
What is required from you?
- Professional or university degree in Informatics, Electronics or similar area;
- Minimum 06 months/01 year in a role related to IT support and helpdesk;
- Previous knowledge in Microsoft platforms, Antivirus, Teamviewer, Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server installation and management;
- Previous knowledge in IP, LAN and WAN networks;
- Knowledge in security topics (antivírus, backups and firewall);
- Availability and autonomy to short-term trips, to support the national stores’ network;
- Driving license;
- Sense of cooperation, positive attitude and ability to create empathy;
- Ability and flexibility to respond to unexpected situations or change of course;
- Initiative, curiousity and willing to find solutions.
