Lead Penetration Tester

We are looking for a Lead Penetration Tester to join the IT team of our client – a company specialized in the financial technology sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

• Lead and execute advanced manual penetration testing of web applications, cloud infrastructure, and internal systems, simulating real-world attack scenarios to uncover critical vulnerabilities;
• Partner closely with development and infrastructure teams to provide actionable, context-aware remediation strategies, ensuring security is embedded throughout the software lifecycle;
• Serve as a subject matter expert on secure development practices, influencing design and architecture decisions across teams to uphold robust security standards;
• Clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations - both verbally and in writing - to technical and nontechnical audiences, driving alignment and accountability, being able to work closely with the global Security Monitoring team to provide coverage and handle escalations during your time zone.

What will be required from you?

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other similar area;
• At least 05 years of professional experience in engineering, out of which at least 3+ years in the security engineering field;
• Technical background in Application Security Testing, Security Code Reviews, security design and architecture reviews;
• Previous knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, or other;
• Display a curious mind, enthusiasm for technology infrastructure, a knack for problem-solving, and the drive to take initiative and work with the right combination of independence and collaboration;
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
