We are looking for a ERP Finance Analyst to join the team of our client – a reference company in the retail sector who is creating a new IT Hub in Portugal.


What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?
  • The ERP Finance Analyst ensures that finance business requirements are translated into accurate SAP S/4HANA functionalities.
  • The role supports Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Consolidation processes, etc. and validates ERP solutions, and provides day-to-day functional support to end-users.
  • The role acts as a bridge between finance stakeholders, the ERP Finance Architect, and IT delivery teams.
  • Gather, document, and validate finance business requirements in SAP
  • Support solution design sessions and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • ·Execute system testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax, and group reporting standards.
  • Provide documentation, end-user training, and post go-live support.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous ERP optimization.


What is required from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Information Systems.
  • 6+ years of ERP implementation experience in finance management modules.
  • Exposure to global rollouts and localization challenges.
  • 3–5 years in ERP finance processes and systems support, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of finance operations, reporting, and compliance standards within an international retailer.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Finance modules.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and user-support ability.
  • Familiarity with data governance, configuration, and testing procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills, workshop facilitation, and documentation ability
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Ability to standardize processes across regions while accommodating local needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment
  • Detail orientation and capability to translate operational needs into architectural models
  • Occasional off-hours support during critical incidents.
  • High-visibility role with strong business interaction.
  • Availability to intense travel within the new implementation
  • Professional languages skills in English, other languages are an advantage.




In accordance with Directive (EU) 2023/970, the starting basic salary for this role is €42,000 gross per year. In addition, there is a meal allowance, health insurance and other benefits.
