IT Manager

We are looking for an IT Manager, to integrate directly the team of our client – a company in the industry sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

• Coordinate and manage IT projects for continuous improvement, infrastructure and cybersecurity, cooperating with internal and external teams;
• Manage and oversee the IT infrastructure, namely areas related to systems, virtualization, storage and backups, monitorization, security, networks, data and IT support;
• Manage information security and ensure the compliance with IT policies;
• Prepare technical reports and documentation related to IT systems;
• Oversee the daily operation of services, ensuring quality, availability and performance;
• Guarantee the correct incident and problem management or changes, according to ITIL processes;
• Establish and maintain a close relationship with all necessary stakeholders;
• Identify opportunities for optimization of processes and cost reduction.

What is required from you?

• Academic background in Computer Engineering, Science or similar areas;
• Minimum 05 years of experience in managing IT services or projects;
• Previous knowledge in network management, Windows operating systems and virtualization;
• Previous knowledge in information security and compliance (ISO 27001 and RGPD);
• Previous experience in IT support and troubleshooting in corporate environments;
• Previous experience in the industrial sector will be valued;
• Solid competencies in analyzing quality of service and problem solving;
• Analytical and strategical thinking skills, with ability to positively influence stakeholders and manage expectations;
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team;
• Clear and straightforward communication skills.
