Loyalty Solution Architect

We are looking for a Loyalty Solution Architect to join the team of our client – a reference company in the retail sector who is creating a new IT Hub in Portugal.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

• Define and maintain the solution architecture for our Loyalty platform, enabling personalised rewards, campaign execution, and cross-channel customer engagement.
• Ensure that solutions meet both business and non-functional requirements, align with enterprise architecture principles, and enable secure, scalable, and sustainable delivery of loyalty capabilities across all markets and channels
• Design end-to-end solution architectures for digital features and capabilities.
• Ensure that proposed solutions align to enterprise standards, integration principles, and security practices.
• Support the Product Owner in shaping the roadmap, identifying technical enablers, and sequencing architectural change.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Maintain architecture documentation and contribute to governance forums.
• Drive reuse of platforms, services, and components across the digital landscape.
• Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and delivery approaches for the assigned domain.

What is required from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field;
• More than 05 years of experience in solution architecture or technical leadership roles;
• Experience designing digital solutions in retail, e-commerce, or customer-facing platforms;
• Deep understanding of digital technologies, microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and security models;
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
• Ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term delivery priorities;
• Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, SAFe Architect) preferred;
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

In accordance with Directive (EU) 2023/970, the starting basic salary for this role is €55,000 gross per year. In addition, there is a meal allowance, health insurance and other benefits.
